Burger King started out with its very first restaurant in Miami, Florida in 1954. Today there are over 11, 200 restaurants in over 60 countries worldwide. The first ever Canadian Burger King opened in Windsor, Ontario in 1969 and now there are over 345 Burger King restaurants in Canada alone.
