O'Regan's Toyota Halifax Dealership History
The O'Regan family's involvement in the automotive industry dates back to 1915 when S.E. O'Regan established a Ford dealership in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. In subsequent years, he owned and operated Chrysler and Chevrolet Oldsmobile franchises in the community.
His sons Paul and Stephen O'Regan worked at the family business in the 40s and 50s, and later went on to run a successful used car lot and all-makes leasing business in Dartmouth in the 70s.
The brothers continued to expand their business, purchasing three Toyota franchises, Atlantic Canada's only Lexus franchise, five other dealerships, three collision centres and two automotive detailing facilities. Now employing over 400 staff members, O'Regan's is one of the largest automotive groups in Atlantic Canada.
Five of Paul and Stephen's children are now active in the business, working in areas ranging from management to sales to human resources. This third generation of O'Regan's endeavors to continue to provide the excellent customer service in the tradition of their fathers and grandfather.
