Ha!ifax (Halifax) Comedy Fest, celebrating its 13 anniversary in 2008, will take place from April 19 to 26, 2008 in a number of venues throughout greater Halifax, including gala performances at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, comedy spectaculars at Casino Nova Scotia, an open mic night for youth at the Keshen Goodman Library, and a number of alternative and adult comedy shows in the downtown bars and clubs.
Tickets for the Rebecca Cohn gala performances should go on sale in December, and all other venue tickets should be available in early March.
The 2007 comedy festival featured 35 Canadian and American stand-up comedians in 14 venues, over 6 days, with all shows being taped by CBC Radio and Television for future broadcast. You can get more information on our web site at www.halifaxcomedyfest.ca.
