If you love to shop and then stop to dine in a restaurant, Granville Mall is a place to work into your itinerary. Destroyed by fire in 1859, the buildings on this block at the end of Granville Street were rebuilt in the Italianate style. It features a variety of restaurants, pubs and shops with an attractive plaza with a fountain and benches.
When the Delta Barrington Hotel was built on the west side of the plaza, the original building facades were disassembled and then carefully restored in order to preserve the historical significance of this area.
