Named after Thomas McCulloch, the first principal at Dalhousie
University over 150 years ago, this museum has a number of biologically
significant specimens on display. You’ll see mounted birds,
preserved butterflies & insects and ceramic, lifelike mushrooms.
The McCulloch museum also features collections of sea shells;
and Burgess Shale fossils are also on view.
ccasional temporary exhibits can be viewed at the museum.
