Killam Properties Inc, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada’s largest residential landlords, owning and operating multi-family apartments and manufactured home communities (MHC). Killam’s apartments are located in the Atlantic Canada’s six major urban centres. The Company’s 52 manufactured home communities, or land lease communities, are located across the country.
From its first property acquisition in 2002, management has grown the Company by consolidating the Canadian rental market. Growth continued in 2007 with $125 million in acquisitions.
