The Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History is within walking distance of downtown Halifax. This museum is a must see due to the cultural heritage and history it displays through beautiful exhibits that show the life as it was for Nova Scotia natives. Check out the astonishing bead and quillwork on the ancient clothing or the display of the local animals and insects. There is also a see-through beehive so you can see the bees at work, not to mention Gus the turtle that everyone loves to pet.
